Moka Only’s newest album, It Can Do, sounds refreshingly like the music we’ve come to expect from him over the years. Thirteen tracks (3 interludes) full of laid back, harmonious rhythms with swinging drums and melodic low-end have that solo-Moka sound, all over it.
The title track, It Can Do, is a smooth instrumental with only a few vocal samples, but if you’re already a fan of Moka Only then you already know his beats are pretty versatile anyway. The multi-talented artist has a knack for giving something to vibe out to whether he’s singing, rapping, or producing. Luckily, on his albums he usually does all 3.
At first only two tracks were released: Do It Again and Handclap Shadack, but the full project is now available for streaming and purchase (ships ~May 29). The purchase options include Vinyl, CD, and Digital, and if you act(ed) fast you have a chance at the combo, which includes the LP and a slipmat (tell your DJ friends!).
